Only if they're using the same tech as Skyward Sword, like if they made Majora's Mask a GameCube launch title or something. Otherwise, I'd expect it would be at least until 2014 for a more standard 3 year cycle.


I'm expecting SSB4 for Holiday 2014.

Considering the two year development time for Brawl, I was assuming that Sakurai would start working on it this summer and that it would eventually be released in early 2014.

2014 is going to be a great year for the Wii U, isn't it?

1. Versus XIII is like a nightmare development to SE, it won't surprise being ported to WiiU if DQX sells good enough. I can see them "expanding" the FF base to Nintendo console, preparing for the FFXV version.

Nintendo is talking a lot lately for the next Zelda. iirc, they didn't that with Skyward Sword after Twilight Princess, but maybe I'm wrong. For some reason, it's like they feel the need to release a main Zelda console asap in Wii U cycle.

My guesses are RE 6 and GTA V will be on Wii U and i`ll say Final Fantasy X HD for Wii U or at least some Final Fantasy as you mentioned!
DQ X and FF X on Wii U would really make Wii U stand out in Japan!

I believe they want the FFX HD to be a Sony exclusive, maybe some kind of Vita-PS3 cross play or something. That's why Versus XIII is the best option to be ported: create a FF userbase with a hyped game (after FFCCCB bomb on Wii) and made a little profit it sells enough.

That's not the case for RE6 or GTAV 'cause they are not managed by SE and their big losses. Really, can't see RE6 on WiiU, but an exclusive such as Revelations and RE7 version.

 

Note: I'm not begging for a Versus XIII port, just speculating.

-A new VS series from Capcom (not a port/remake)
-Street Fighter IV Port (OOOOH NOOES)
-Megaman Game (watch it happening)
-Dragon Quest online (the rumored online game)
-Shin Megami Tensei Wii-U (not a port/remake)
-Makai Kingdom/Wars Port
-DragonBall Z Game (not a port/remake)
-WWE 13' (you know its gonna happen)
-Dead or Alive 5 (will be released same time as the PS3/Xbox360 versions)
-Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Port
-Castlevania (Not a port or remake)
-Mortal Kombat Port
-Asura's Wrath Port
-Blazblue Port
-Skyrim Port (Yes I am pretty sure they will)


I cant see a full blown GTA game on the Wii-U, China Town Wars was possible because it wasnt as graphic intense as Post-GTAIII, it was mostly like GTAI and GTAII.

The Dragon Quest online game you're talking is DQX Online announced last year.

As for Skyrim, I think Bethesda will wait for next Fallout installment.
