Looks like Japan has chosen their handheld console for this gen, 3DS rising to heaven. PS3 didn't even rise that much as i was expecting. LOL @ Wii.

This reads like a sensationalistic headline. The day users look at 320k+ for two days as "bombing" is the day I facepalm thrice.

You're right the real test will be in these next two weeks and the weeks after january hits but it's a very poor launch regardless. PSVita was seen as the next saviour of portable handhelds and it had a lot of hype for 6 months.

don't think TriG will do it. There probably won't be another MK on 3DS but MH4 will come in a coule of years the latest. The long tail for MK7 will ensure it outsells MH TriG.

As for MH4, it's a big unknown.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Where the hell is FFXIII-2 on the X360 ? :S

Why would it be in top 30 ? FFXIII on X360 was ultra huge flop in Japan so with non exisitng userbase why would anyone buy XIII-2 ?

I guess all we can expect from XIII-2 now is to have a smaller dropoff than XIII.

XIII sold 180K in it's 2nd week,after a 1.46M FW, so let's see how XIII-2 performs compared to that.
