Sadly Mirianda won't be a permanent squad member:(

Neither will Ashley, instead they've giving us Mirashley Willawson. Because Ashley based on her own words in ME1, would not be wearing a catsuit.

Can anyone elaborate on this whole either or, action story rpg thing? Kinda sounds bad but I haven't heard it straight from the horse's mouth. I mean more action, more roleplaying options is great, but limiting and omitting content so that it's an either or scenario....am I understanding this wrong? Please say yes.

Nobody actually answered your question, so I'm going to.

Mass Effect 3 comes with three distinct "modes" you can play in.

"Action" mode streamlines the story, basically simplifying the choices you need to make and turning conversations into somewhat-interactive cutscenes. Its focus is on the action, on kicking ass, and it treats the story as something you just want to get past.

"Story" mode makes the action easily passable in all forms, while giving full access to all the conversation trees and whatnot. It treats action as a stopgap between converstions and choices that affect the plot.

"RPG" mode is like the first two games, where you're in full control of everything. You go through all battles with full control, you go through all story sequences with full control.

It's not an "either/or" scenario, because you can have both.

My friend completed Mass Effect 1 in 13 hours and I in 19 hours for the first time. I completed ME2 in about 29 hours. And how can you say this is the best trilogy if the third game isn't even out? What if it epically flops like Dragon Age 2?

My thoughts exactly. But that's selnor for you .

+3

Oh damn.

 forgot Im on Sony Chartz.

'must remembr to say only PS3 excluives are the best'

'must remember'

Guys give it a rest. I could OOOOONNNNNNLLLLLLYYYYYYYYY Imagine what game series would win in a poll on this site.

Jesus. Your all ruining VGC.

How the hell did you reach this conclusion from the original posts? They were clearly alluding to your intense enthusiasm, NOT, the fact that you love non-ps3 games. Calm down

Does story mode still give you all the RPG elements but shorten the corridor shooting? A mode with a couple of difficult tactical fights with increased xp instead of killing dozens of groups in a row would be my kind of thing. Making the action easily passable, yet still with the same killcount in the end doesn't make it any better.

Should be a great game anyway. A great way to start the new year.

Gonna just drop this here.

I'm curious if my Shepard can go to the same plastic surgeon.

Considering one of my Shepards basically went from being an underwear model to being Clint Eastwood between games I'm gonna say yeah, you can do that.

It's interesting how Ashley actually shows a few subtle signs of having aged, here - the laugh lines in particular.

Yes her nose's tip is higher than before, but her face is actually changed less than Liara's was between the first two games. It's still an improvement over the situation in the second game, where her low-poly head from the first game stood out so much.

Still no Tali...

Unacceptable. :(

Tali was confirmed months ago...but I won't get into spoilers.
