Also, don't listen to any posters with under 1,000 posts. They are likely alts just trying to boast they're favorite game.

Also, don't listen to Truck. He's just sad that Nathan showed less ass than in UC2.

Also, don't listen to Boutros...ever. He said FFXIII was a good game.

That leaves the reasonable & objective Uncharted fans: Aldro, ethomaz, coolbeans, & Jay520. There's a unanimous agreement that Uncharted 3 is superior.

I have metacritic to back me up on every point. FFXIII = 83 (Good game). U2 = 96 > U3 = 92.

Also, it IS true that Nathan's butt in U2 > in U3. Major letdown.

You of all people should know metacritic isn't a measure of success. Just look at nearly every JRPG.

At first I felt UC2 was better. Then after really thinking about both games in their entirety, I came to the conclusion that they're both equally great, just in different ways.

Uncharted 2 had a lot of "wow" moments, and I think that's what a lot of people base their comparisons on because that's what they remember most. UC3 however, had a more adventurous feel to the overall story. I also feel that they're both equally flawed. The platforming in UC2 felt a little too magnetic, while the AI in UC3 was sometimes downright retarded. Um, excuse me bad guy, I'm half dead and reloading my pistol, yet you choose to run right passed me to hide behind a crate.

At the end of the day, they're both amazing games, and should be experienced by all action/adventure fans.

I see U2 is winning. At least I know I shouldn't expect to be mindblown.

And BTW, what is it about U3's aiming that people complain so much about it?

They just can't aim. UC3 has more recoil and the reticle breaks apart more sporadically (is that a word?) when shooting. It forces you to put forth the effort to control your shots by actively changing your aim and shooting in bursts to prevent your gun from losing control. This is much harder than UC2's system where you basically had to aim and pull down the trigger without worry of control-issues. I personally prefer UC3's system. It promotes you to constantly adjust your aiming & makes basic shooting more tactical. Also preventing newcomers from being competent, it takes a while to get used to.

I can aim, but my problem lies in the sensitivity. I can turn it all the way up, and I still had trouble targeting sprinting enemies. The melee segments become repetitive and multiplayer can, and wil be a struggle for new players because of the broken matchmaking system.

Strange, I've never had a problem with targeting anyone as long as I'm at the appropriate angle and I time my shots good. Maybe it varies with the individual. I agree about the matchmaking, though it's better than UC2's IMO. I thought the fight segments were great, regardless, they weren't really abundant enough to affect the overall quality much IMO.

U2. U3's story doesn't quite know where it's going and you only get to stay in each new location for a few small chapters. Lets not even talk about the Bullshit "Boss Fight" at the end. Too many loose ends with characters too. Still really liked it though, But U2 >>> U3.

for single player: Uncharted 2, the story seemed to go along more smoothly, and I loved the in-game medal system, along with all the tweaks/cheats you could do(I don't know why they took that out...) but Uncharted 3 had a GREAT story; loved the new stealth kills and the ability to fight multiple enemies at once, and the set pieces were AMAZING!!! I didn't have a problem with the shooting mechanics and I started my first playthrough on hard.

for Multiplayer- Uncharted 3: blows U2 out ofthe water loved the TDM and the co-op adventures are much more fun(they actually have chapters and a short story!! brilliant!!!)

Metacritic is still better than a bunch of users on VGC :P

Gameplay wise in singleplayer U3 is better (plenty of new stuff/mechanics), but the actual story is better in 2 imo. Polish and graphics, U3 hands down. Also, i much prefer U2's multiplayer. But apparently U3 actually requires skill

e=mc^2

If you're being sarcastic, then I'd say UC3 aiming does require more skill. Not that that's a good thing though, some people dislike difficulty with basic controls.

You just know that my complaints are well founded and that's why you try to undermine me.
