MS prices are actually pretty reasonable to me.
Go look at the prices of Sony products like TVs, PCs, etc. They are up there with Apple.

Oh Sony. Seriously get your act together. Losses in pretty much every division. Next time you won't be able to blame the yen.
As someone who has purchased 3 PSP the Vita so far is looking like a no.

Yup I think you are confusing sony with microsoft homer. Sony often jacks up their prices simply because their products say sony. Just compare a vaio laptop or a bravia tv to the competitors. 50% more expencive for the same if not worse quality.
Whoa so you can't use any old SD card, it has to be an official Sony card.....and expensive ones at that?
Keep digging that grave Sony while 3DS widens its lead :)

If its for game saves, demos, music, and movies, etc........4 gb isn't a lot at all. You either gotta tediously make room when you want something new or you gotta put down money for another card.
Core fans though aren't in the "most" people category, they will want the high end memory. And since the core gamers are responsible for most Sony IP sales, you just found a way to alienate your most dedicated fanbase.

This is one of many reasons why I don't like Sony and why I'm uninterested in the Vita. Uninnovative hardware, no full on backwards compability, no games I'm interested in, unnesscary and expensive accesories that do little to increase the playability of the system, etc.
