does the new wii still have the gamecube controller slots or are those gone too. I wanted to get one but games like brawl and mario kart wii I would want to play with a gamecube controller. I still have a few gamecubes in my house so don't care too much for backwards compatibility

Nope the gc controller slots are gone. You can always get a refurbished one, the wii is pretty reliable after all.

Its not like people are buying a Wii to play a Gamecube lol. Most Wii owners never even owned a Gamecube. They owned a PS2.

The loss of GC backwards compatibility isn't as big as no WiFi included... now you actually have to buy the official Nintendo USB adapter if you want to connect to the internet, and it takes away the convenience of being able to put your Wii anywhere in your house and still connect to the internet.

I was hurting because of these great new deals for the new Wii revision because I wanted one with BC. $100 is a mighty fine price and most people won't care for the BC.

I didnt realize that the new Wii doesnt have any Internet capability. That is pretty limiting.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
