Yes but it is still actually a downgrade and honestly, Nintendo had no reasons for doing this.

The Gamecube controller use was a very cool options that I have used extensively on some games. Why people would be more interested by an inferior Wii?

Well your not Nintendo so for you they have no reason but for them they do have a reason which is too cut down the price and make people buy the CC to make more money :P

o so i'm forgetable? thats messed up. i'm a little hurt ya know lol. ikd. it's cool, this is one thing users comanly forget. you know this gen has out sold last gen by 3m. its ruff math but it's close if not spot on and adjustments would make that number bigger.

6th gen 200m in its 11th yr./7th gen 203m in its 5/6th yr. using vgc and updated PS2 numbers.

I just went to two walmart stores for black friday and I didn't see a single blue Wii. The store clerks told me they sold out of them and except to sell out again once they restock.
