Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Fans, would you buy Skyrim if it is released on WiiU ?

No; I didn't enjoy Morrowind or Oblivion at all, and so far I see no reason to believe Skyrim would appeal to me any more.

you didn't enjoy them because of the buggyness or too much text? or is it because you don't enjoy RPGs?

You know that Nintendo fans have PCs? They can buy PC games if they want.

For me I won't probably buy this game. I haven't followed too much news about this game but just watched a gameplay video. Looked slow and quite empty and apparently there is a lot of level up to do. Not my style of game.

its sure not empty at all, and it can get fast paced if you want it to be.

but you don't like RPGs in general right? (it doesn't really need much leveling up to be honest if you don't want to level up)

It's not a game? Then I will not buy it.

i get the feeling that the last game you actually played is Faxanadu, i don't know .. on each thread i see you post on you seem to be "meh not the game for me!"

I would like to see how they would implement the Tablet controller, as it seems perfect for a game like Skyrim (the user interface is kind of a chore on the PC). I'd imagine that they could make great usage out of the second screen.

Also, I just realized that when you're disarmed, you actually lose your weapon (I thought you couldn't use it for a period of time...). I lost one of my coolest swords. T_T

Disarmed as in arrested?

Nah it just happened the first time to me. I think it's some spell that disarms you. Thanks for the warning btw.
The loss of my Legendary Ebony Bow would've been critical. Ebony Ingots/Ores aren't quite common.

EDIT: Think it's a shout and not a spell.

Oh and Pullus please stop these double/quintuble posts

It looks like a computer game. I play wii to get away from a computer games. That's why i say NO!
Also when you say it's not really a game. That's actually a red flag for me. Also what makes this game better then every other HD game that we are supposed to be impressed by?

So I take it you'll have the same attitude towards Nintendo once they start popping out Mario, Metroid and Zelda games in HD, right?

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I'd maybe buy it for Wii U if it was the complete version including all the DLC that is bound to happen. However, I was thinking about maybe getting it for the PC in a few months. I don't see how you state that some Nintendo fans are upset. Even if you only prefer buying Nintendo consoles that doesn't prevent you from owning a PC that can play recent games.

well i said i would buy it if it came too WiiU but now that i have seen how buggy it is i want that stuff fixed as well as the animations and flying horses :P

they should put wings on them maybe :P

i will buy it on Wii U with the extra stuff and all the bugs fixed

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Buggyness and don't really enjoy most RPGs.

Also don't really like first person perspectives outside of shooters, (and not even in them sometimes) I like being able to see to the side and behind my character.

If I can give Skyrim a crack at a friend's place or something I will, but I'm not paying money for it unless I play it and like it first, not after buying Morrowind and Oblivion because everyone said they were so amazing.

There's going to be bugs in those types of games no matter what.  Comes with the territory... it's the price you pay for having such a vast open world to explore and literally billions of different scenarios you can encounter.  Other open world games like GTA have similar bugs as well, though can't say they have flying horses in them lol.
