Ummm, I don't know if the 3DS has enough ram for the tag portions of the game, so I don't think Capcom would be in a rush to make a 3DS port right now. Now as far as Wii U goes, there'll be a port in probably a year of Wii U's release, till then Ono is probably focusing on the two platforms that have resources and tech already developed for. Did you have to make a thread on this?

ps2 had 32 MB of ram, and teken tag tournament worked fine... 3ds has 128mb.

Sounds like they either ran out of (or got tired of making) new excuses:

N64 & Gamecube: "There isn't a big enough userbase"
Wii: "There isn't enough processing power"
3DS & WiiU: "Ummm...there is no reason, really"

Honestly, I'm suprised they didn't say their dog ate the 3DS/WiiU beta discs.

But Capcom are bringing their 2 biggest franchises to the 3DS so "they" doesn't really work.

His reply (Yoshi's) was a bit ambiguous and i dont think you can necessarily assume that a 3DS version isnt coming - certainly not from how the question was framed.

If however, Yoshonori WAS saying that there would be no 3DS version, then there absolutely HAS to be a reason that they arent developing for it, even if they say they dont have one. If they are making a game, and making for 3 different devices, then clearly there MUST be a reason why they arent doing a 3DS one - ranging from making a 3DS port not being cost effective to the 3DS being hard to program for. Im not saying either of these is true but putting reasons out there. Either way we should be hearing something in the future in regards to this.

PS2 had 36 megs of ram and games were made with that in mind.  PS3/360 have 512 megs of ram and I'm sure Capcom is building to utilize all available ram in both consoles.  I was more or less saying they wouldn't want to work on a 3DS port right now, I'm sure they were using all 128 megs of ram on the 3DS for just 2 characters and animatedless backgrounds for Super Street Fighter 4.  Throw in 2 more characters and I doubt they want to start trying to make things fit right now.

But you're comparing a game that has been on the Playstation since its creation and an Xbox exclusive with Street Fight x Tekken.  And neither Street Fight or Tekken have been staples of the Nintendo consoles, so there isn't much of a comparison there.
