I'll just be dropping this here:

45 - Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (ps3)

Around the Network

45. Pokemon Black and White (to generate a post so i can find my permalink to the real thread...)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I chose Portal as my #45, a game that has already appeared on the list of others...

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

45. Chaos Rings (iPhone)

Yeah, that's right, an iPhone game, sue me.

Chaos Rings was not only a good iPhone game, it was and incredible game, and an incredible RPG.

Not only you could spend over 30 hours playing all of the very different stories, each with it's own fun twist, the gameplay was tight, the combat system really good, Olgar's story was excelent, the art was strong, the soundtrack really good and it was overall, a very meaty and worthy package.

I do not only think this game is amazing, it is one of my favorite RPGs this gen.

#50: Duck Tales
Some of you might not believe it but there was a time when Disney games were good, even great. Thanks to Capcom, gamers during the 3rd and 4th generation could enjoy classics such as Rescue Rangers, Castle of Illusion and Duck Tales.
Duck Tales is one of my favourite Disney games because of it's fun and solid gameplay, the big, varied and exploration-friendly levels and the awsome music from the Moon level.

#49 Sonic the Hedgehog 2
I might have been a Nintendo guy back in the days (still am) but that never stopped me from enjoying the Sonic games for the Mega Drive. The second game is probably the one I've played the most and it's my favourite of all Sonic games. It's one of those games I can pick up at any time and have fun with. I don't how many times I've sprinted through the Green Hill Zone...

#48 Rescue Rangers
Another great Disney game for the NES. Once again it's time for Fatcat to be punched in the face and Chip and Dale is up to the task! There are quite a few levels in this game but they have lots of variation and the difficulty is great.
Very fun game, especially in multiplayer.

45 - Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (ps3)

Does this game really scale up to AC1 & 2? Big fan of the franchise, but I'm debating skipping Brotherhood and Revelations because they seem half ass. Brotherhood is down to $20 now though, so it's in my price range.

#45: Soul Calibur II (GameCube)
Release Date: August 27, 2003

As we go through my top 50, some genres are going to get more attention than others, and the traditional fighter genre (both 3D and 2D) is at the bottom at the totem pole. I'm just not a fan of the usual unintuitive control schemes (Up Up Down Side B is a kick... well that makes sense!) and an uber competitive culture that frowns upon anyone who wants to play "just for fun". But the great thing about this hobby of ours is that great games show up where you least expect them... and that's where Soul Calibur II comes in. Okay, so I only bought the game so I could fight as Link (every 'Cube owner did, so don't give me that look), but how I was I supposed to know that the game would be that fun? That the game's control system actually made some amount of sense? That the single player mode could actually be engaging (Gasp! I know!). Soul Calibur II is one of gaming's biggest pleasant surprises for me, and here it is at #45.

Main: Link (Seriously, I was really good with him. Seriously!)
Favorite Weapon: Butterfly Net (Nothing beats beating the other player with your joke weapon)

45 - Metroid Prime (GCN, Wii)

I had never played a Metroid game before Metroid Prime, but like many others I was afraid the perspective (first person) would make it more about action and less about atmostphere or exploration. We were all wrong! while it had some monotonous parts (having to traverse back and forth across the world a dozen times got boring), the atmosphere, action, boss fights, and exploration elements were all top-notch! I enjoyed the sequels, too, but not as much as this masterpiece.

Also, There are three zelda games on my list. None of which are Ocarina of Time. sorry guys! Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is worth it, but I wouldn't pay full price for Revelations, it's glitchy as hell and the new features are...bleh.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

AC1 is too repetitive among other things so I might have played only half of it.

While a big upgrade I personally wasn't the biggest fan of AC2 either probably because it has some iffy design here and there as well and a story that goes completely out of the window at the end.

Somehow I enjoyed Brotherhood a lot more. I'm not sure exactly why though. It wasn't because  of the multiplayer. It has the kind of multiplayer where everybody else has better upgrades and the noobs need to grind through the first couple hours. I doubt you'd miss this and Revelations (which I haven't played) as they're more of the same. Then again if AC3 releases next year I'm not sure it will be any different, besides perhaps a new age.

Scoring them I'd say:

AC1 - 5

Ac2 - 7

Bro - 8

I voted game Timesplitters 2 as my game 44. Brilliant game, I remember putting loads of hours into the demo of this even though I dislike FPSs, knew I had to buy it. luckily it never triggered my Motion sickness, so wintastic!
