Arkham City selling 1.7 million week 1 should be a lesson to game devs. If you actually put effort into a licenced game like that it can be more than a piece of shit shovelware that sells 1/2 million lifetime. Sure it costs more to make a good one like AC but it'll make good profit hopefully.

9 Wii games in Top 50. No new Wii releases. 1 Wii game, that isn't bundled, in the entire top 20, with 2 in the top 25. Wii increases by 24% (~26,000).

16 PS3 games in Top 50. 5 new PS3 releases. 5 games in the top 10, 9 in the top 25. PS3 increases by 9% (~21,000).

I don't understand how the Wii boosted so much this Week.

Batman sold more on the PS3? Then again it is not a shooter.
I know the last Batman did better on the PS3 because of .. whatever, but I thought with all things being even x360 would have won. Not much in it though.

Hardware wise, PS3 is in a good place. The EMEAA is the future.

Holiday season starting slowly but certainly, decent hardware sales.

I'm really, really glad to see Batman doing so well!

PS3 and XB360 have very irregular curves, heavily influenced by big HW moving events, like price cuts, big games releases, special offers at major chains of stores, etc, so we can predict very good holiday sales thanks to many SW releases, but we can't safely predict a trend.

Wii, OTOH, shows a very regular curve that even before big Xmas games releases suggests it could grow to very nice Xmas sales this year too.

Which one will sell more between BF and the end of the year? Really impossible to predict right now, but I dare to predict a big Xmas for each one. And while the year is by now lost for Wii, we can't rule it out as a possible winner of those last five weeks of the year.

Uncharted 3 week should boost the PS3 a bit in America. I see the bundle is moving up on Amazon charts!
Will probably move a lot more hardware in EMEAA though!

Didn't a Battlefield 3 bundle go on sale this week? Think we might see a slight boost in PS3 HW for next week!
