All sources (NPD, Nintendo, GFK, etc) said PS3 is doing better than VGC shows... even it was UP yoy in Europe and US... so VGC is just adjusting the PS3 sales.

Price cut is doing a great job .

wow Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One in EEAA was HORRIBLE, is 18 k even possible??? These are the kind of games that can´t be sold at full price in Europe, I mean there is no way people will by this game right now, Sony has to find a way to sell games like LBP, Ratchet, etc, at a lower price point from the beginning. They are great games, but the target audience for these games is very particular. Gaming in Europe is already a pain for the regular consumer (some countries more then others), let´s not charge people, the same amount for buying a fun game, with flaws, low budget, to play casually with friends 10 times or online, or buying a GOTY contender, with a huge budget, that you can play for years online.

Ps3 going in.......
Last year, PS3 was, at this point, the best selling console, weekly, but, when November arrived, it went from 1st to 3rd in a heartbeat. This year, the most important week will be the Modern warfare 3 week, the 2nd week of Uncharted on the market.

If the PS3 is able to be ahead, or just slightly below the 360, I think the November/December race will be very interesting.

I think the Wii is a Wildcard, man that console is so cheap...... it will be very hard to contain.

Let´s hope for YoY good numbers for the big 3, the industry needs them, next generation consoles are still a dream at this point.

Do you mean holiday boost for the jpn market ? That begins in december, while november usually is a very slow month for hw sales in Japan - might even be the worst in the year.

Overall meh,but look at 3DS, up a lot despite PS3 SW being the only one up!

Very good week, for HW and SW, PS3 could be a monster if its Japan week be less slow, 3DS a monster too, very curious that it's up the most in Japan, the only region where its SW is down.
With Xmas approaching and WW advertising for Dance Central 2 helping it, Kinect is growing again, but it's still quite low compared to XB360 strong performance, and Balance Board is growing too roughly by the same % just for the season boost, without advertising.

Edit: just read about 3DS' new colour in Japan, now I understand, those crazy Japanese are even crazier than usual for new colours!
