I remember when the PS3 was about to be launched and alot of these pictures of this PS3 controller were being released. I'm not sure what exactly happened to it and why sony went back to the dualshock/sixaxis models but i always wondered rather or not the PS3 would have been more succesful if Sony had chosen this model controller.

With this said. Would yall have prefered Sony released this controller instead of the Dualshock 3 or do yall think the dualshock models are good and should continue with PS4...

i'll never be able to play that thing, maybe it was designed so if you throw that piece of crap it will return at you and smack your face.

I prefer the DS3, to the boomerang, but I think it is time for them to change the design. The original design has gotten a little stale over the years.

Sticking with the Dualshock was one of the few things Sony did right with the PS3 launch.

that thing would have sucked,dont know how i would play 2d fighters with that, people complain about DS but its a controller, as long as its comfy whats the problem. it would be like me saying tv remotes are getting stale, if it aint broke why fix it?

i'm sorry, but the MS really hit home with the 360 controller.. perfect size, feels good... D-Pad is annoying sometimes but if sony copied the 360 controller i wouldn't complain.
