PS3 It only does everything, I prefer it because its the best multimedia device out there with is its gaming, blu-ray and dvd capabilities it is the center of my entertainment system + outstanding free online play

I'll say this in every thread like this, anybody who worships a brand name is a retard.

Because (IMO) it doesn't do them as well, not to mention it shows a lack of creativity.

Seriously, to be honest, that is indeed a HUGE plus, DVDs look dated and honestly I can't go back since I got my Blu-ray.

For me it's the Xbox 360.

I prefer xbox live, i prefer the controller, i prefer (most of the) exclusives, it's just my personal favourite. *I do own a PS3 though)

i can hardly stand watching a movie on DVD the picture and sound quality is that bad

Really?  I looooves my Blu Ray, don't get me wrong, but I have no issues with DVD, I still buy them from time to time.  I only buy Blu Ray on new movies or something that has a deal on it.  I'm a technophile but I'm not picky.  besides, PS3's have good upscaling, so the DVD quality is pretty good when watched on an HDTV.  

But yeah, I like that I can plug in my external Hard Drive to my PS3 and watch all the movies and porn I want on there! 

As for the whoile "liking a brand is retarded" comment, I'm not really seeing how.  I'm not so ignorant as to block out others, but I do like the playstation brand because...well, it seems to feel the same way about gaming I do: Variety, simplicity, and a lot of good solid singleplayer. Games like Heavy Rain and LittleBigPlanet are pretty damn innovative, and nothing like it is on 360 or Wii (far as I know), and I like that they made Move an OPTION rather than a REQUIREMENT! the best motion games on the system are the ones that are good with or without PS Move, and that's just a really cool option.  Resistance 3 is a GOOD game that happens to have Move support. Killzone 3 is a GOOD game with Move support.  Kinect Adventures is a gimmick.  Wii Sports ia  gimmick.  PS Move Heroes is a Gimmick. 

When I see the Kinect allowing me to play GOOD core games (like Steel Battalion), or the Wii incorporating GOOD motion control in its games (Skyward Sword), then I'll be interested.  Until then, I could survive almsot entirely on my PS3.  

Plus I like that it has all the motion control options of the Wii, and all the great games of the 360.  it really does only do everything.

I'm quite surprised too, actually. I mean, I knew VGchartz was known for liking PS3 more than other sites, but not by THAT kind of a margin. PS3 has more votes than Wii and 360 combined...crazy shit bro.
