Games like Heavy Rain and LittleBigPlanet are pretty damn innovative, and nothing like it is on 360 or Wii (far as I know), and I like that they made Move an OPTION rather than a REQUIREMENT! the best motion games on the system are the ones that are good with or without PS Move, and that's just a really cool option.  Resistance 3 is a GOOD game that happens to have Move support. Killzone 3 is a GOOD game with Move support.  Kinect Adventures is a gimmick.  Wii Sports ia  gimmick.  PS Move Heroes is a Gimmick.  When I see the Kinect allowing me to play GOOD core games (like Steel Battalion), or the Wii incorporating GOOD motion control in its games (Skyward Sword), then I'll be interested.  Until then, I could survive almsot entirely on my PS3.   Plus I like that it has all the motion control options of the Wii, and all the great games of the 360.  it really does only do everything.

i also agree with your post. i have a brand of icecream i stick to and general rules about gaming i stick to like having dedicated franchises as a must, now if not expecting the best is retarted then thats wht i'll be, but i bet i'll get the most out of my product when its all said and done.

The reasons: Free online, hardware reliability, the controller, the Miis, and the games.

I choose the wii because of its new way to play games, playing metroid prime 3 with the wiimote is one gaming experience I will never forget. Oh and I love niche and original experiences and the wii has plenty of those, it may sound crazy but I prefer a niche game that takes chances than a AAA that plays it safe.

I despise The XBOX1 and XBOX360 only good for FPS Games. I like MS but they should stick to PC and get out of Console scenesince there don't know what he hell they are doing.

I prefer the Xbox and Nintendo. Xbox because it's an american product and Nintendo because of their great and classic first party games and because i have supported nintendo since childhood and always will.

Also, I note most posts aren't worshiping a brand but are actually fairly mundane but sensible in content such as "I really like films and want to watch in as high def as possible so BR in PS3 is a plus" or "I really like social gaming and online and I therefore prefer Live and 360 due to the better social gaming elements of the service".  Hardly brand worship.

ugh, I don't see how people could possibly say "it's made in america, therefore it's better" or "Therefore I am dutifully obliged to support this"...I just...there are no words to describe how baffled I am by this attitude. 

I never got that attitued either, its not confined  to gaming, i know a bunch of people that will only buy american cars even though alot of them suck and break down quicker. To each his own, but ive served 5 years in the military so I think i did more for my country than buying a video game product
