I played a few matches and I have to say I am underwhelmed. Firstly why can I not find any controls layout so that I can actually see what buttons do what. Now I know most of the buttons are pretty obvious but I don't think many people know what spotting is unless they are actually told. Secondly the graphics are pretty terrible but I'm expecting them to be much better in the final version. More importantly though, recoil on the guns is really high and it doesn't explain how to cook grenades, so far I don't know how to. Also there seem to be lots of glitches and can someone please tell why the hell the whole screen ha this weird dark blue tint sometimes which makes it hard to see anything until you die... overall i wish they had some info before you played cos it's incredibly confusing. Rant over.

Wow a lot of hate I see, well I thought the beta was pretty alright.

There's always going to be frustration in the beginning of a multiplayer game if you're new to it. People who started before you already know the map and can take advantage of that, it's just normal. Don't give up. Give it a few hours to learn the maps and you will adapt and be succesful.

BF always has a high proportion of snipers who don't help the team but other than those there aren't many who camp in the long run. It's a team based excellent game. Give it a little time, it's so much more entertaining than COD.

I'm starting to like it on the ps3... matchmaking isn't perfect yet but the teambased attacking and defending is getting better.. people are getting to get used attacking one point together as a team.. running around like a rambo doesn't work... a good defending team can beat the attackers at the first part of the level.. but I do want to say that lower leveled player don't really stand a chance.. (I went up against 5 level 20+ players with me at level 5 the highest of my team) matchmaking must get better

I love the beta. I'm a fan of the series so I knew what to expect. I just wish they'd give the first aid back to the support and the ammo back to the assault class. Don't understand why they did that. I also wish they'd give us at least one more map,one that has the vehicles at least. Other then that I like it.

Yeah i really don't get why the support doesn't have the first aid either. >_>

No. Just no. I don't want medics with LMGs, it's a huge immersion-breaker for me.

Apparently DICE is saying that people who play on modded servers (with higher player counts) could potentially lead to a ban. Be careful with modded servers as they can alter stats and such.

Trying to play on the PS3 right now and its getting worse. Everybody keeps falling into the map in the starting area. The subway part is just turning into LMG's laying prone and everyone else spamming RPG's. The lag is increasing aswell, all the menus and when you die its becoming increasingly slower and more buggy. The framerate is also dropping to 10-15 atleast due to so many players spamming rockets.

The shotguns also make almost no noise. Ran into about 3shutgun players and not a single one of their guns i could hear. The screen keeps going fuzzy, also the screen is flashing either blue, white or green randomly. The issue where the player decides to stop sprinting is also getting out of hand.

^^ Agreed the RPG spamming is getting ridiculous.. as attacker you almost don't stand a chance anymore..

also i 'm getting a lot of emails from EA thanking me for playing the battlefield Beta..... waay too much emails... >_
