Yes, yes he did, he was not perfect, like any other mod, but the point is he banned people who nowdays should be banned but are ignored and get away with whatever they say, and to be honest, it is better when people get banned for small stuff than people not getting banned for constant baiting and stealth trolling.

The most despicable example would be Antabus, who goes to Nintendo threads only to celebrate Nintendo failing, he says it to the face and always walk away like nothing happened.

As for banning for small stuff. People do. M.U.G.E.N. (seeing that he's been brought up here) got banned for sig length. Sig length!

Sig lenght was a common ban since... well.. always, it is a forum rule violation.

And as I said, M.U.G.E.N is a great example of a person who manages to annoy people just before crossing the red line, and that was what Maxwell did great, identify these types of posts and issue a warning/ban for them because of their intentions.

Maybe, the old mod team were still all dropped though. If he was bored of VGC as a whole, then I guess it's a mix of both. He was dropped and felt like the right time to leave.

Problem persists, keep reporting or mail a mod/admin. Trust me, it works. I've had the same problem.

Anyway, you're missing the point, the point is, with Maxwell around, there was no need for massive reporting (that is always in vain), he was always there to deal with the situation.

Yet he made more mistakes than what you could shake a stick at.

If you have problems with the moderation, speak up about it. I did it a whole lot when I was pissed off, it worked eventually. It worked a whole lot more when more and more people were noticing the obvious problems. If you notice now, the new mod team, for the most part, are liked. This is the first complaint I've seen, outside of Rol's last ban.

Trust me. I wont name names, but I used ro report certain people a whole lot and nothing got done. I mailed the mods and it got sorted.

Sorry, but honestly, most of the mistakes he commited were with you, so you (maybe with a reason) will never understand most of his actions were for good, Nintendo forums have been a total mess since Maxwell left, and nothing can be done about it.

Other forums have got better, so it's a fair trade really
