Indeed, especially the part with the kids got me.......

And even weirder, I watch my kids play games now that barely have a story at all, yet they're transfixed. It's almost like they're seeing something I'm not. For instance, I let my kids mess around in a Grand Theft Auto game (supervised) and the first thing my son does is steal an ambulance. My youngest daughter then pretended to be injured and dialed him on her pretend cellphone. He drove the ambulance around town until she told him, "I'm there on that next block." He'd then pull over and pretend to pick her up... and drive her to the actual in-game hospital. The whole trip, he'd bark out things he'd heard on medical dramas and pretend to save her.

Yep, looking at those five reasons I can tell you that I am ancient.

Yes, this is actually a good point.

You know guys, I don't think this article was actually trying to call us old. It was just trying to note some of the problems in the industry today without using the generic "5 things wrong with Gaming" title. I guess by saying people are too old, they are implying that gaming has changed and anyone who craves ol' school gaming elements shall be disappointed from now on. Thus, saying gaming just isn't for them anymore, which isn't a good thing for gaming.

Oh, so it means that we should change with the times or move on.

i agree with this.

but gaming as a whole sucks seems like you're not playing much games, or atleast just playing the most popular ones. the least popular ones are great (i think you know that already)
