I always played video games, but this generation turned out to be one of the most compelling to me. I find myself appreciating video gaming much more now than ever. But the classics I grew with will always have an appeal.

I havent played Enslaved either, thats from Demo and watching a friend. That mechanic is used in tons on modern games specifically Western made games. I dont understand it, if your not gonna allows us to "REALLY" platform then why put it there? From what I've seen, devs seem to be test DRMs out. I think it'll phase out once Devs realize consumers aren't down for that shit. On consoles anyway.

Yep pretty much...I just wouldn't be able to bring myself to play it.

Well, SNES games that used sprites instead of ugly 3D still look amazing today, actually, they aged much better than 64/PS1 or GC/PS2 era. They are just too damn stylish :'-)

DRM is being heavily pushed actually.. as said by ID software... there gonna start using your favorite games to help push their agenda. They know you cant resist your shiny graphics and blockbusters. They had the balls to say that out loud...shows there confidence. but thats only 1 issue.

Well, there aren't a lot of great vids though, but Zelda, FF6 and Chrono look pretty nice.

i do beleive games have gotten a lot shorter. and i hate the fact that jrpgs suck mostly now, dispite the improvements in graphics and power.shooters are just to short imo.
and so far this gen the only games ive cared about story are RDR and Alan Wake and bioshock.overall storytelling quality has gone downwards this gen.
