*vomits*
below 70 million looks unlikely because by that time most people will be over the shooting that just happened and go to see TDKR and there is no big release next week either so 80-90 million will look more realistic however if it can keep good legs throughout the week and if the TV spots for the film release before the weekend starts than 90-100 million looks like a goal it can achieve. However if it somehow does manage to beat the Avengers record in the second weekend than it has a chance of beating the Avengers domestically. Does anyone agree with me and know when the Dark Knight Rises TV spots will return?
Watched the movie. And it was slghtly dissapointing, but I expected it to be.

I've seen TV adverts for Rises this past Sunday on FX. They were playing them a couple of times during the Batman Begins movie. Haven't seen them on other channels however.
What are TDKR's competition for the next few weeks? I don't know how well the Bourne series do

What's your rating ? How does it compare to TDK ?

I do not rate movies with points because I think this system is bullshit. The Dark Knight was one of the best if not the movie ever. It would not be fair to compare those two. The Dark Knight Rises seemed forced in too many ways, and there was almost no Batman. Batman does not even have full 10 minutes. The other problem was Bane. Such an impressive character, Nolan made one of the best villains out of Bane. Every time he was shown was another highlight of the movie. And then he ends up like he did. Seriously? I think Nolan did that on purpose to aggravate me. The ending of the movie was depressing, it should not have ended that way. That was the biggest issuse I had with it, it made feel like shit when I left the cinema. Comparing it to The Dark Knight would not be fair, I would rather compare to Batman Begins. Both are great movies and worth the 8€ you pay for them, but both did not reach their full potential.
Edit: They are gonna reboot it in a few years anyway.
UK Box Office for TDKR:
The result was a three-day opening weekend of £14.36m, which compares with £8.69m (plus £2.50m in previews) for The Dark Knight in July 2008, and £4.43m for Batman Begins' debut in June 2005. The Dark Knight Rises has achieved the biggest three-day opening of 2011, since Avengers Assemble's £15.78m debut included £2.55m in previews. The biggest ever three-day opening remains Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, with £23.77m.
£14.36m = $22.2m

My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

I'm hearing good things about TDKR's Tuesday gross.
