The Avengers beat TDK's total in just 19 days.

Any guesses as to where Avengers will end up on the all time list?

I say just behind Titanic, but under 2 billion. Thoughts?

Wow the budget for Dark Shadows was $150 million :/

It should end up with like $300-$350 million worldwide.

If it only does that then it will not turn a profit untill its released on Blu-Ray/DVD on demand since the $150 million does not include advertising and the studios only gets about half of the box office.  At $150 its still only half as much as Pirates of the Carabean: At World's End which is the biggest budget to date.

I'm pretty sure that Avatar was more expensive than At World's End.

No Avatar's budget was $237 million dollars.  I'm sure Johny Depp almost got paid more for at the World's End then the entire cast of Avatar.

Wow a mere 21.3% drop for The Hunger Games! Awesome!

And of course amazing for The Avengers.

I wonder if THG has any chance left at reaching $400M.

*Trolling ON*

This is so unfair, the most overrated movie of the year, really, the plot was lackluster and all those heroes are flat and uninteresting, I guess some scenes were okay, but really, it deserves 400 Million at most.

*Trolling OFF*

Don't worry. Star Wars Episode VII will come within 10 years and take the throne!
