Starting your post with 'In my oppinion...' or 'I believe that...' would go a long way into not making you look like an idiot who just makes up facts.
But it's great that you came around to say it was no more than pure speculation on your part based on nothing but bias against the group of people who are identified as non believers (in my oppinion of course).

I have not met a single Christian in prison who followed the Bible when they got arrested.Mainly because if your following the Bible then their should be no reason to arrest you! |
Of course, except owning slaves, killing kids who misbehave, stoning people for working on the sabbath, etc... that sort of nice stuff that's in the bible, right? :)
1 thing though... it's not surprising for a non believer to see there existing a lower percentage of atheists in prisons, or a lower percentage of atheists who are very uneducated compared to the population of believers.
On the other hand, it should be a heavy burden to carry if you are a believer, to justify why indeed there aren't a lot more atheists who are uneducated and commiting crimes if it's true that there is an advantage of being religious, when in fact it seems the situation seems to point exactly the other way.

Such a statement can't be defended as 'just an opinion', because it's not something than can be viewed as subjective (as oppose to say, making a statement about how pretty a colour is). It either is true or it isn't. If you make such a statement, you're gonna have to back it up with actual statistics, or 'making shit up' becomes a proper way to describe your views.

Lol, so you state something without any evidence going against the OP who actually have some numbers in his favor. Yup when Rath was pointing that out, he was definately trying to look cool.
These aren't real Atheist! Real Atheists don't commit crime!
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

This.
I also find it interesting that there are vastly more Catholics than any other denomination by significant margins, despite the fact that Catholics are certainly in the minority in America (generally sub-20%).
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
