Hypothetically, if two of those "big guns" sell over a million copies on a system with a small user base, and if hardware sales pick up severely when those ports from the N64 get released (They sure did when Zelda got released.  We'll see what happens with Starfox....), what kind of sign would that be?

A sign that people are pretty dense. Selling a million copies itself doesn't mean anything for a port of an old game but when it's full price it's just a rip off. As for sales increase Zelda was the first worthwhile game on the 3DS and it still didn't have the 3DS sales all that much, there was a bump but if it was severe they wouldn't of cut the price. Either way ports of those old games and rehashes of their other games alone is not going to carry Nintendo through the gen even if it does do those things.

Sadly, the typical parent or casual gamer can't tell.

I'm suprised with advertising these days, companies can basically flat out lie about their product, especially when it comes to healthcare and beauty.

dead or alive dimensions is a great fighting game, and resident evil mercenaries is a good game as well,ssf4 is a good game too. saying the 3ds has no games, is being blind to the fact u want it too fail, pure and simple. also the commercial is ok, not great but better than the ones they 1st used to try and say what is actual is.

I like the Ad, the music is sooo Good! and it is always played very late, like if it is a growing men Ads and not a toy for kids. That it is why no pilot wings or nintendo dogs or mario are on it.

The 2nd advert was definitely better, if all those games are out before xmas, the 3DS may just make it into my stocking.

Those games are mediocre, the best being SSF4 (a game with far too many variations on far too many platforms). Most of those games are only A games, AA at best.

There are more games I want on the Playstation Vita (which is 6 months from release) than the 3DS which has been out for 6 months.

And yes, I'll admit I want the 3DS to fail.

Because you had enough sack to come out and admit this, my respect for you has increased to Super Saiyan 2 levels.  You're not one of those guys that fakes being unbiased.  To me, that is fucking awesome.  I may not agree with you (I want to have the 3DS's children....) I can appreciate your honesty.

Any reason why??? IMHO competition is good, if it wasnt for 3ds Sony would have charged more for the Vita
