Forums - Nintendo - This is not DS,this is Nintendo 3DS - new ad clarifies things

Well I wish all the best for 3DS i wish to play it for 4 years to come and have lots of incredible games.

Do not care about anything else apart from nintendo stuff. But I am sure that Vita will do just as good as PSP no more - the first country to be out is actually the only country where still very strong, not sure it is a good (strategic) move either, they will be their own enemy as much as DS is for 3DS in the rest of the world.

There are more games I want on the Playstation Vita (which is 6 months from release) than the 3DS which has been out for 6 months.

And yes, I'll admit I want the 3DS to fail.

Because you had enough sack to come out and admit this, my respect for you has increased to Super Saiyan 2 levels.  You're not one of those guys that fakes being unbiased.  To me, that is fucking awesome.  I may not agree with you (I want to have the 3DS's children....) I can appreciate your honesty.

Thanks, I always make sure I am honest, I have no reason to lie.

If you have a strong opinion then there are obviously reasons why, if you come clean and explain why you feel this way then at least people can understand WHY, even if they don't agree with you.

And as for the 3DS, I want it to fail because of the way I feel about Nintendo, but I doubt it will fail, it just needs time to get on its feet. I'll admit that I'm on the fence about buying one, but because of cost and how hyped I am for PS Vita, I don't think I will get one just yet.

Nintendo would have been better off naming the console, Nintendo 3DP (3D-Portable) instead of 3DS. Maybe . . .

Either way, they're some people in this thread (you know who you are) who is quickly writing off the 3DS, calling Zelda it's only good game and claiming it has no future. Stop trolling and go predict your own future . . .

"wii" was a bad euphemism ... that doesn't mean you should go and try and trump it.

So, 3DP is bad then . . .

can the 3DS not have different types of adverts,i thought it was quite a useful ad to put out

people can't see 3D movie adverts but still go to watch them

i understand that the 3DS doesn't have the games at launch or even by xmas that people think it needs but it is surely to early for the impending doom mountain, nintendo are standing on top of everest with the ds and wii which are still selling,it may not seem clever but they are still feeling their way with the 3DS and mario hasn't entered the game yet

rol it sounds like you have given up on the 3DS or are you just bemoaning the strategy of nintendo as a whole
