Note to self: Do not, under any circumstances, engage Roland in a Nintendo debate. His power level is too high.

SECONDED!

I think I'd rather take on Richard Dawkins about God and evolution before trying the above!

never mistake truth with temperament.

Yes, but 'power level' could mean either, so your words aren't applicable to me.

I didn't realize Dawkins was a Dragon Ball character...

(I'm assuming ofcourse that your an atheist. If not, then my condolences.)

I thought you were referring to Rol, not Dawkins.

And I happen to not be an atheist at all. Never was, never will be.

In that case I would have done better to address my original criticism at others such as d21lewis or Snesboy. I didn't mean it to look like I was addressing you personally.

Regarding the comment, yes I know you meant Rol but I thought you were making an analogy about people who are good arguers, and just wanted to point out that presenting a point of view aggressively (as Rol does) isn't the same as presenting it thoroughly (as I believe Dawkins does and thought you did too). Sorry about the knock on religion, in that case. It was out of place in this context.

Wow, sounds like you pissed off the wrong people in the past

No worries man!

I got the tech demo vibe from this commercial. But who knows maybe this commercial was necessary *looks at sales

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

ill wait some time, it might cost 100 in next year

Well Nintendo, I can't say you're taking your advertising in the right direction here. You're criticizing the best-selling handheld of all time, which happens to be YOUR handheld.

I'm almost starting to think that maybe Nintendo should have never released the 3DS, and instead have supported the DS for more time to come.

I think Nintendo 3DS should became teh market leader and beat up Vita.

nintendo deserve this as I only like nintendo games.

I do not want to buy other console apart from Nintendo. I do not care, I prefere to stop playing that own a Sony hardware.

It is my point of view, maybe stupid i agree but still...

I like the cut of your of your jib.

1 DS, 2 DS, 3 DS. 3DS. Same thing.

At this point what choice does nintendo have? They need to market to hardcore gamers if they want to get pass this sales stalling phase. From the looks of it nintendo did a great job getting 3rd party developers on their side, the ad had nothing but core games no casual games in sight. I wonder if it's too late for nintendo to attract casual gamers?

I guess after "storytelling", "3D" and "maternal instinct", the new buzzwords at Nintendo HQ must be "surrealism" and "Magritte"

Thinking about it, what else could Nintendo do? With the Wii and the DS, they attracted the casual market and made buckets of money in the process. It's time for new hardware (aka the Wii U and 3DS) but what options are there? A lot of people that bought a Wii or DS are not the kinds of people that will buy the follow up.

My sis is a PS3/Wii/360 owner like me. I doubt she will EVER give the Wii U a second look. She uses the PS3 to watch youtube on TV and the 360 as a DVD player! The Wii doesn't even have working batteries. My mom couldn't tell the difference between a Snes and an Nes. People jumed on the Nintendo 7th gen bandwagon because the systems offered something new (Touch Screen, Motion Controls--and you, the guy who wants to point out that touch screens and motion controls existed before the Wii and DS: Shut the fuck up.) that they had never seen before. It's going to be tough, if not impossible to hook them with better graphics and more processing power.

Nintendo has no choice but to go after the hardcore crowd, again. These are the customers that notice the little things like anti-aliasing and midi-music. These guys are the ones that will buy consoles, generation after generation. But are they going to go back to Nintendo after the family friendly consoles that were the Wii and the DS? As we've seen, there's already a TON of resistance. I'm glad I don’t have to figure out Nintendo's dilemma.
