Ace Attorney: Trials & Tribulations

This is are three games I would give 10/10, there are too many great DS games to even make a top 30...

I've heard lots of nice stuff about the Ace Attorney series. I might get them all. DragonQuest is another 1st party RPG like Golden Sun and fire Emblem, right? What are the best 2 DQ games on DS? Mario Kart DS was on my list, I don't see why one should own a DS and not have that game.

But seriously, this thread is like asking for a top 3 PS2 games list.

No. They're made by Square Enix. The best 2 DQ games on the DS are V and IX.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Camelot Software Planning (the developers of the Golden Sun saga) just in a partnership with Nintendo and not owned by them? Camelot used to make games for Sega before (like the first two Shining Force games).

No, DQ has been developed by Level 5 and it's a franchise from Square-Enix. It was just published in Europe by Nintendo. As for the best DQs, I would say DQ IX and DQ V, even if also DQ VI looks a great game...the Ace Attorney games are must haves, the greatest IP of the gen for me (even if in Japan it started last gen...).

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

From my favourites I would narrow it down to:

Advance Wars: Dual Strike
(missed some strategy console games during my PC years, Advance Wars is the main reason why I got the DSlite)

Picross 3D
(After Picross DS, decided to try the 3D version and it's even more addicting)

Professor Layton and the Curious Village
(Nice blend of story and puzzles, could've picked one of the Phoenix Wright's games - but they are missing those puzzles that I like)

I think Camelot doesn't belong to Nintendo but the Golden Sun franchise does. Can anyone confirm this? From the replies to my post, I guess DQ V & IX are the 2 I'll be getting. Just one more question. If I recall correctly, the only DragonQuest not on a nintendo system is on the original XBox. Why is that?

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks - I had to pick either this or Phantom Hourglass, but I chose Spirit Tracks. You really can't go wrong with Zelda, so I'd say pick at least this one up.

New Super Mario Bros - The Mario formula has been around for ages, but it's still a ton of fun. If you enjoyed any 2D Mario's in the past then this game is a must.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - All I have to say is that this game is similar to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. That's a good enough reason to pick it up.

I don't think that the original XBox got a DQ game, but the PSOne and the PS2 got two DQ games both. PSOne got DQVII and DQIV remake and PS2 got DQVIII and DQV remake. Plus some spin-offs based on the DQ universe were released on Sony consoles.

Great, I love SOTN. I will look into that Castlevania.
