Forums - Nintendo Discussion - If you could only have played 3 Nintendo DS games, what would they be?

Just notice how many replies have The World Ends with You in there, follow those people's lists and you'd be gold =P. People who have DS but haven't played that game are criminals of the gaming community! Worse for people who have played it but not on that list!

I've played it but I didn't find it to be the "end-all-be-all" of DS games. It's a pretty innovative game with some extremely unique mechanics that take advantage of almost all of the DS capacities, but I found it a bit lacking in the story department and it was a bit on the easy-ish side.

Current PC Build

CPU - i7 8700K 3.7 GHz (4.7 GHz turbo) 6 cores OC'd to 5.2 GHz with Watercooling (Hydro Series H110i) | MB - Gigabyte Z370 HD3P ATX | Gigabyte GTX 1080ti Gaming OC BLACK 11G (1657 MHz Boost Core / 11010 MHz Memory) | RAM - Corsair DIMM 32GB DDR4, 2400 MHz | PSU - Corsair CX650M (80+ Bronze) 650W | Audio - Asus Essence STX II 7.1 | Monitor - Samsung U28E590D 4K UHD, Freesync, 1 ms, 60 Hz, 28"

This is are three games I would give 10/10, there are too many great DS games to even make a top 30...

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

I guess you never took it to the hardest difficulty with massive chains then =P

I tried it on Hard Level 1 and still found it to be very easy. Then again, I also did manage to complete the Order of Ecclesia Hard Mode Level 1 Challenge without too much difficulty (for those that don't know about it, it's almost the modern day equivalent of playing Super Ghouls and Goblins on the Pro difficulty).

Wow--this is a really hard question!

I can't narrow it down to specific games, but I'll give you some series you really owe it to yourself to check out:

1. Professor Layton series
2. New Super Mario Bros (the multiplayer is EPIC!)
3. Ace Attorney franchise

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Ultimate is where it's at unless you have to collect pins in different difficulties  ^^b 16x chain is no joke if you get hit in the later chains in that mode hehe.

Legend Of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

Planet Puzzle League

The World Ends With You

There are so many awesome titles to choose from you can't really go wrong.

I've heard lots of nice stuff about the Ace Attorney series. I might get them all. DragonQuest is another 1st party RPG like Golden Sun and fire Emblem, right? What are the best 2 DQ games on DS? Mario Kart DS was on my list, I don't see why one should own a DS and not have that game.

But seriously, this thread is like asking for a top 3 PS2 games list.
