Probably die at around 115m - it's a shame, because it had potential for much more.

The ranges in the poll are too large.

I'd guess 105-110 at the moment. And if you'd said that to me a year ago Id've thought you were mad.

Yeah, talk about ironic. Last year when Nintendo gave their initial projection of 18 million people thought they were being extremely conservative and it would probably do 20 million+.

Proudest Platinums:
1. Gran Turismo 5
2. Persona 4 Arena
3. Wipeout HD
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
5. Super Street Fighter 4

I'm not sure...but by years end maybe...

It's nice that people have conceded it won't reach PS2 levels. From everyone's estimates, it should just edge out the PS1 though. It's amazing how fast predictions have had to change.

At least it will be the first N console to hit 100M and the first non PSsystem to hit 100M.

Oh absolutely, Nintendo deserves all the credit in the world.  They kicked some ass this gen.  It's just kind of bittersweet because it could have done even higher.  Very impressive though.

We waited about 16 years for a new Home console leader after NES topped 62M, from there on the next N system sold less and less, just horrible.
