Wii price cuts from this point on are incredibly ineffective for 3 reasons.

1. It's already very cheap, the price really isn't going to hold many people back now.
2. Each christmas it gets marked down by like $50 anyway, so the following summer when it gets an official cut people are like, 'huh, this was $99 at xmas anyway?'
3. Zero to little SW to back it up, this is only going to get worse 2012 onwards.

It's possible it wont hit 100M at this rate but if i had to choose 105M LT.

It's nice that people have conceded it won't reach PS2 levels. From everyone's estimates, it should just edge out the PS1 though. It's amazing how fast predictions have had to change.

At least it will be the first N console to hit 100M and the first non PSsystem to hit 100M.

Should crawl to roughly 120 million. Very solid but could have done so much better..

The last hurrahs of Dragon Quest X in Japan, and Zelda in the West, coupled with an eventual $100 pricetag and the continued strength of hits like Mario Kart and NSMB should bring it there relatively easy.

Oh absolutely, Nintendo deserves all the credit in the world.  They kicked some ass this gen.  It's just kind of bittersweet because it could have done even higher.  Very impressive though.
