Forums - Sales - Can GT5 outsell Halo Reach with a good amount of bundling by 2014?

I would say it's not impossible though and interesting to hear what people think the actual numbers could finish up at.

I would expect final unbundled sales for both games to be

halo reach (10 mil)

gran turismo 5 (8.5 mil)

I think its pretty impossible to try to predict bundled numbers other than yelling out random numbers.

Are you forgetting AGENT. Judging by Rockstar's past works, the game should do something between 9 and 19 million. 

Higher than GT5 for sure

My point is that look like people here have a fixation for this game, and how much in the far future it will sell.

I can`t undertant why this game is so important. None of my friends that have PS3 cares for this game. They prefer FIFA, PES, Naruto NS, Motal Kombat or Street Fighter. And my friends that have only Xbox 360 (like myself) would like to play Uncharted, God of War and Killzone.

This is the only game forum that I see such a passion for GT5.

I know it might sound stupid but certain individuals want GT5 to outsell Halo so they can brag it about or reassure themselves that the franchise is far from declining.

No dude there are bundles for Halo Reach. Plenty. Go to futureshop, bestbuy, gamestop, EB games I bet you you'll see some. While GT5 has no bundles. And like I said Halo Reach is only 1 year lifespan

Sorry to say but Halo Reach has virtually no bundles sans the limited edition one (which I believe is sold out) which I don't really count as a true bundle cause it costs more then a normal 360...and GT5 had one of those type of launch bundles as well....and as far as official bundles I haven't seen any in America and you know there aren't any in Europe cause its selling like ass over there.

 

Anyways back to your question: Yes GT5 will outsell Halo Reach if it's heavily bundled...if not then I say no.

I doubt that Agent will sell that much it still has no firm release date.  I'm pretty sure it will be released too late in the PS3's life cycle (late 2012) to produce huge sales numbers.  I'm guessing that it will sell more then RDR but less then GTAIV so anywhere between 4-8 million copies but that's only if it gets better reviews than RDR.

Just an ordianary racing game. That prooved you have not played a single GT game. GT is the Call of Duty of it's franchise.

there is a slim 250gb bundle. Heck I bought Halo Reach with that a slim bundle. And there is a sale going on for Halo Reach. It's like 51.99 ofr quite some time now. And GT5 has never had any sales or bundles other than the one at launch for Japan which didn't really work out as expected
