No dude there are bundles for Halo Reach. Plenty. Go to futureshop, bestbuy, gamestop, EB games I bet you you'll see some. While GT5 has no bundles. And like I said Halo Reach is only 1 year lifespan

Sorry to say but Halo Reach has virtually no bundles sans the limited edition one (which I believe is sold out) which I don't really count as a true bundle cause it costs more then a normal 360...and GT5 had one of those type of launch bundles as well....and as far as official bundles I haven't seen any in America and you know there aren't any in Europe cause its selling like ass over there.

 

Anyways back to your question: Yes GT5 will outsell Halo Reach if it's heavily bundled...if not then I say no.

there is a slim 250gb bundle. Heck I bought Halo Reach with that a slim bundle. And there is a sale going on for Halo Reach. It's like 51.99 ofr quite some time now. And GT5 has never had any sales or bundles other than the one at launch for Japan which didn't really work out as expected

Yeah that slim 250GB bundle was the special limited edition bundle....but my point is neither Halo Reach nor GT5 had very many bundles. They got the vast majority of their sales from normal buying.

if we all had these types of feelings then we wouldnt be dead serious that KA would sell 20M LT and supporting them or having countdown timers of bundled products in are sigs, luckily we dont all have these feelings

So? It's not the same situation, I'm not comparing it to anything else and saying it signifys being more popular than anything, not surprised you don't get that though.

It sold 6.4 million with pretty much no bundles. Isn't that any achivement already? Halo Reach is more bundleld than GT5 as of now so in that case Halo Reach already has a head start.

I didn't say it wasn't an achievement, where have I downplayed GT5 sales? You're the one highlighting GT5 VS Reach, I'm just saying if it gets heavily bundled it doesn't matter if it beats Reach, it won't mean anything.

Look up a few posts, Reach has hardly been bundled at all.

beating halo isnt really a comparison its more of a measuring stick i did this aswell just b/c we say can gt5 beat reach ect. doesnt mean that we are trying to say its better ect.   we do this b/c halo is a game from a past gens that hasnt fallen off like most expected or how most if not all  believe gt has fallen off this gen, we use halo also b/c its sales this gen are close to what gts where past gen

 

it would signify importance b/c during this gen halo and COD type games are the big sale makers many people believed that there was a shift in gaming prior to past gens and games that were popular before will not be this gen gt being one of them

Beside the remakes or off shoots there has not been a main line halo every year.

It's not a measuring stick though if it had to be heavily bundled to get there. At the end you can't say 'GT beat Reach so it's a still a bigger franchise'

GT as a franchise has been bundled far far more than mario kart XD...

You keep posting halo reach is more bundled than gt5, but aren't giving us any proof to that statement. Saying something wrong a million times doesn't magically make it right.

As for some more GT5 bundles. There are already some posted and here are a few in the uk. =) And these UK GT5 bundles aren't limited edition ones with a higher price than normal. Seems like even with bundling GT5 can't outsell halo reach weekly.

No GT is still a bigger franchise than Halo. Both of them are huge franchises but look at it this way. Compare the marketing campaign for GT5 and Halo Reach. Then count how many times GT5 has been delayed causing dissapointed fans. Most gamers didn't even know when GT5 was releasing in North America. Now compare the metascore of both of the games. And think back which one had more competition. The only advantage GT had was it being released in holiday season but that too with plenty of competition killing the NA sales. Despite all that I'm amazed GT5 has crossed 5 million. But within 6 weeks they shipped 6.37 million. Do you think if Halo Reach was delyayed a countless amount of times got a 84 meta, almost no launch hype and got released next to Black Ops would sell over 6.5 million by now?

That just comes off as your chosen interpretation, metascore ect don't have that much of an impact, not to mention this is the first big GT game of the gen and Reach was the second, as was a prequal .... yet it's what, 2 mill ahead? Halo is bigger than GT as of today.
