N64 had some classics but there were holes in its library that were never filled. It never got a good fighter like Street Fighter or Tekken. We had to settle for Killer Instinct Gold (which was a choppy, stripped down Killer Instinct 2) and Mortal Kombat 4/Trilogy. We were also given the decent Mace: The Dark Ages and the abysmal War Gods. It never got a great traditional RPG. "The Fun Machine" had the best platformers, pro wrestling, Jet Ski, Star Fox, and FPS's on the market. Everything else was done better on the competition. Even the genres that the N64 did best, the competition did almost as well. I pity the gamer that didn't have access to a PS1 between 1997-2000. Even the Gamecube had better support.

There's Super Smash Bros. but then again you might not consider it a fighting game.

Its the only fighting game that matters.

Super Nintendo, by default.

NTSC SNES > Wii >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> PAL SNES > >>>> GC > NES > N64

N64,SNES and Wii are top 3 easy... I think N64 edges out on nostalgia factor, but library wise it's probably Wii

Nintendo 64

Well my favourite is Game Boy Advance SP, but if we're only talking home consoles then I guess the N64. Didn't own it by my neighbour did so I used to play it a fair bit.

NES. Greatest console ever, IMHO (SNES is pretty close, though).

I can't choose I almost love em all the same. They all have experiences that the others don't and that's what I like. PS1, 2, 3 sort of deliver similar experiences with practically the same controllers which can be fun at times but not too memorable imo.

NINTENDO

nintendo forever . . .
