Wow...It is kind of messed up when you put it that way LOL

I still think its a smart move from Capcom...even though I still feel bad for people.

It's never a good move to piss off your customers. Eventually it will bite you in the ass.

True, but I don't think too many people will care about this.

I don't understand the big problem...Someone explain it to me.

Don't games always let you play it again without resetting anyway once you beat it? For example, like with Resident Evil 3...once you beat it, it says that you beat the game once but you can continue to play it without erasing anything correct?

The only issue I can see with this is that if your really stuck and it would be easier to just start over then to continue on...you wouldn't be able to start over until you beat it...but if you can't your screwed.(Running out of ammo for example)

This is Mercenaries though and not a story lined game...you just shoot the mess out of zombies to get high scores and play with people Online...so whats the problem?

You are correct in your points. However, one save eliminates the games value in a way. See, you can't necesarilly let your friend borrow this game unless you are okay with them unlocking things for you.

Although this isn't a story game, it may be a preview to future games that actually do have a single player. Like you said, when you beat a Resident Evil game, it says on your save file that you completed it so you can start again. But what are you going to do if you have a friend who would like to play it when you are half way through? Or what if, for whatever reason you want to start all over but their exist a current play through(different difficulty, etc.)?

It can bother some, if not plenty of people.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Well, while I agree that that move sucks, the revelations demo is enough for me... I got a $20 gift card from amazon after buying Oot so I am actually only paying $19... Good deal!

Menx64

3DS code: 1289-8222-7215

NNid: Menx064

Quite stupid move...
Maybe this will be sold (used) for 100 Yen soon like Ragnarok Online on the DS.

There's got to be a way to erase the save... somebody just needs to find it.
Unfortunately turning on/off the system rapidly isn't possible like in the NES days. (And probably wouldn't help, because the saving works different today...)

I wasn't eager on picking this up, but this seals the deal.

They better not pull this shit on Revelations, too.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

WOW

This is really stupid, why doing so? It's not like now they'll have more sales, how can I buy a game which can't last more than 30 hours because you cannot play it from beginning? I was not going to buy it but still it doesn't make sense...

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

You make people buy your game by adding value. Capcom is doing the exact opposite. Who the hell running Capcom nowadays?
