Sounds like a terrible idea... i find DS games bad enough with only 3 save slots and the ability to delete saves - but one save game, ever.
It sounds like an insanely stupid move.

My comment from the article:
I really really really hope Capcom carry through with this plan. Because it will prove absolutely devastating for game sales and hence show that "some cures are worse than the disease".
I will laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh. I'm just giggling like a school kid at the thought of the epic failness of it.

Man that sucks but I bet it won't hurt sales. Not everyone is a forum dweller who will see this article tons of naive teenagers and young adults will buy this game and then realize this deficiency. This won't hurt used sales either because many consumers aren't that educated in gaming even the hardcore.
In the end it will only hurt Capcom's reputation. Consumers who buy this game may be turned off of future Resident Evil games. Which is bad for Capcom. I wonder what they heck was going through their minds when they came up with this dumb idea?
Wasn't going to buy it anyways, but this is insane!

Nah, they'll just blame Nintendo. It's the popular thing to do.

True and think how it encourages family gaming when your brother/sister unlocks all the content for you and you can't even make separate saves for both of you :D
@ Joel - I have seen ads for this game - trust me those people would never buy RE game anyway after being victim to this money grab.

Capcom already did that in the past. You can't erase the memory ("vs points" which do unlock extra modes/content) in Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival for the GBA.
Also I wonder how shortsighted some people are. "I don't care, I buy only new games". Well yeah, in few years there's gonna be no "new" copies out there!
In this particular kind of game, I don't see the one-save option as a particual issue. However it won't affect me since I wasn't planning to buy it anyway. However if they use this "feature" in RE Revelation they can go to hell.
The game is going to be average anyways. You got this mode in Resi 5 for free but now they are dumming down the graphics and making into a FULL retail game for 50 euros with only one save allowed..................pathetic.

Unfortunately this is what will probably happen, even if I think this is the only example of game on 3DS with such a feature...
This is just unbelivable. Actually i don't have any words for it.
So we have finally reached the stage where we really can't play a game as much as we want? From the beginning?
Resetting gets removed? We are the customer and we can't affect a major factor like this? What if in near future i can watch a bought movie only once? Yea i know you can rent them for watching them once but couldn't there have been a similair solution for your game capcom? They should sell this game at half price when they deliver a circumcised game.
Don't buy this. If Capcom sees they get more money from this, they will eventually do this with every game.
This is almost an insult to our liberty as a media customer.
