I think that if Nintendo pulls it off, it could be the real PS2 - not the Wii as many have compared it to be.
PS2 was for the casual and for the hardcore and Nintendo is trying to really do that this time. More, PS2 came from the success that was PS1, as Wii U will come from the success that is Wii - with all the differences involved in that regard.

Let`s see what Nintendo and 3rd parties will show so we can make a real judment!

That is a bad entertainment attitude. The developers are not supposed to just make the games they want in the way they want. The greatest entertainers, which includes people that can make games and movies, have to bust their asses to please the audience, not themselves.

I slightly changed Sominis comment in another thread: You're not thinking straight. Dreamcast was a console produced by Sega, the WiiU is produced by Nintendo.

It is okay.  You can blame me.  I linked this thread in the Is the Wii U Nintendo's Dreamcast thread.  Just trying to point out how everyone compared the Wii U to the Dreamcast already and still doing so.
