The one thing that really got me is when the guy from IGN said that sometimes there isn't just a clear path through the level, that sometimes you have to look around for your objective.  Really?!  We're going to complain about a game not having a highlighted path to your objective and actually make you, God forbid, look for the way out?  Ugh.  I can already tell that I'm going to enjoy this game.  Sure it's not going to be GOTY material, but not every game needs to be.

to be honest i dont know how Gearbox could have relesed it this bad...when they got it from 3D realms they shuda noticed how bad it was and did a complete overhall even if it does take another 2 years

Doesn't really give me the same vibe as the old Duke tbh. They try to make Duke more modern but stuck with some old school ideas, the mixture of modern and oldschool didn't hit it with me. I've cancelled my orders after playing this at the friend's place. This is coming from someone that still enjoy playing the original Duke 3D.

I'll still give it a rent from gamefly, the score doesn't look promising though.

Well based on 2 hours of play, I thought it was pretty fun...its not a show stopper but its waay funner than something like...Homefront

Was anyone expecting different results? No game needs this much time of development. It could only end with a mediocre game.
