Forums - Sony Discussion - Vita will be region free!

I really like region free stuff :D I'm a big fan of the Super Robot Wars and SD Gundam series :D So this increases the chance of buying it, if it gets good support I'm all in! But this is probably the best thing sony made after the ps2, both of them did everything you wished for.

Now to see if it's worth importing.

Is delivery from the USA to the UK less than $120? >_>

If your buddy is going to US for a trip sure ;)

But the real problem of region locks isn't price of device.

What is real problem is niche obscure usually japanise games that get released only in Japan or in Japan and USA or stuff that gets release in EU months after US.

Still I love that news - that was last thing which i was afraid to spoil PSV for me not finall obstacle has been removed.

Another win!

very nice if true!
this plus the price-tag are already a one-two punch against the 3DS. Sony's propositions are looking a lot more attractive to me than Nintendo's recently.

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

No, I'm saying it to Sony because, let's be honest, region-locking is not a major deal-breaker in the market. Not that I expect the "hardcore" to actually accept that

PS3 is already region free for games... what news here?
