I think they are at the point that they really don't mind phasing the Wii out with barely any support.  They will probably release a few titles here and there before the Wii U but Zelda is probably the last swang song for it.  They are happy at what the Wii achieved and are looking to move on to their next system.

Admittedly the Wii could have used more attention (we'll be getting news regardless), but the 3DS and WiiU stuff was spectacular. A lot of comments on this thread is why I refuse to listen to a lot of people's thoughts on Nintendo. They did great and they still have nitpickers and contratrians saying otherwise. They just can't win, but since they're kicking the crap out of their competition anyway they don't NEED to

Just as an observation, it seems like a lot of people's disapointment with the Wii U system is that Nintendo didn't give you information that they weren't likely to release; and that they didn't show off games they weren't likely to display. In other words people's expectations were way too high ...

Nintendo never officially released the specifications of the Wii to the public, and it is likely that they will never release specifications on another home console because they don't believe that it is meaningful to consumers. At the same time, it seems like this E3 was the reveal for the Wii U, and could be considered similar to Spaceworld 2000 for the Gamecube or TGS 2005 for the Wii; and you're getting far more details about the system along with playable demos which neither the Gamecube or Wii had when they were revealed. We're probably not going to see built from the ground up software for the Wii U until next E3

I missed it, damn work. Where can i stream?

As I mentioned in the other thread, I think there's a lot to be intrigued about, but Nintendo did a bad job of getting the information across.

It's a solid 7/10, better than Sony and a lot better than Microsoft, but it could have been better.

They didn't even show the console, they didn't show/announce any first party titles for the console, and it was confusing. But everything else was awesome

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

8/10 best E3 conference but not as good as I hoped.

Maybe they'll show the hardware if you post it a fourth time.
