Seems like Wii got a little boost.

Around the Network
Wii 98,134 ( 94%) 33,477,174
PS3 66,749 ( 5%) 24,173,640
X360 46,735 ( 9%) 20,713,665
DS 42,713 ( 4%) 58,990,340
PSP 34,912 (-2%) 28,624,119
3DS 29,652 ( 1%) 849,963
PS2 11,589 (-5%) 63,981,074

Pretty much everything got a small boost. Even the 3DS.

Gran Turismo 5 has been doing great lately!

ROCK ON WII! :D :D

Looks like advertising finally grabbed the public attention. I said 140k for this week. Maybe my 200k prediction could be right?

EDIT*

ConsoleWeekly (change)Total
Wii 18,946 ( 175%) 7,946,623

That's the UK figures. Goes to show advertising helps, eh?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Shit Wii beat the PS3 this week :( But good for GT5 and LA Noir!

Go LA Noire. Hopefully this encourages gamers to be more diverse in their purchasing habits.

Good job Wii. Hopefully it stays that high for a while.

Good Job GT5. KZ3 staying up there with BO.

Dirt 3 not doing too good.

Around the Network

O noes... Just Dance 2 is slowing down... :(

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

I look forward to seeing the PS3 backlash this week, after what happened last week

Also...does that mean, dare I say it...Wii is...up YoY? Is that even possible?

I don't know if Wii will increase in America WoW since the pricecut had a full week there compared to  one day of sales for Europe. It should be atleast 160k WW though. Heck that would put it first, something we haven't seen for ages. Wii first!? Think about that!

And that UK boost is a big boost.

Edit:

I haven't checked last year's data but I think despite Wii will be down YoY despite the boosts. >_>

So the price drop in Europe did work

In the UK, we had a full week, but adverts only really started this week. It's doutful, but maybe it could go up, again? I mean, Brian Blessed is selling it now FGS

EDIT**

Last year-

Wii 97,261 ( 14%) 27,028,622

This year-

Wii 98,134 ( 94%)

33,477,174

That's up people! You read that correctly:

Wii is UP YoY
