Forums - Nintendo - Kid Icarus: Uprising- Video of More Recent Build

The visuals look great so far, but it's such a departure from the original that I hope they follow it up with an awesome 2D action/adventure soon.

Also, since you move Pit with the analogue stick and the reticle with the stylus (the left shoulder button fires), I've heard that it takes a toll on your left hand after playing for awhile, since you are having to hold it one-handed.  You'll either have to play with the system resting on a surface, or even better, they'll release a thumb-nub for your right hand (hopefully one that won't scratch the screen) so you can hold the system with both hands...

Looks a lot better then it did at E3. I was a little worried when I saw it then now I'm feeling better about this game. I wonder if he'll ever get that bow from SSBB. Maybe as an unlockable or god-forbid dlc

Looks like the type of game I'd enjoy plus it's Kid Icarus, looks like sin-punishment type of control. Can't wait to see more next week.

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

mario maker

new 3ds

yoshi woolly world

zelda U

majora's mask 3d

The on-rail parts seem a bit boring (not my type of game.)

I'll wait and see.

They talked over the new music.

Also, not that excited. I need to see the ground segments.

At least Paper Mario can't let me down (hopefully).

I don't speak Japanese, but I'm pretty sure I heard that guy say "Space Harrier" which is exactly what I thought of. This game looks pretty fun to me, if not the full EPIC game some people think is needed. I'm sure I'll get a kick out of it, and it looks simple enough, at least during these on rails parts, that my wife may enjoy it too.

LISTEN TO THE FIRST WORLD PODCAST REAL GAMERS, REAL AWESOME

I assume he is using the touch screen and the analog nub to move the character and the cross hair right?
At first I was scared that the two would be the same, but later on he moved both at the same time, so I guess everything is fine. Graphics are looking great.

Thanks for the link. I was wondering how recent the video was. Game still looks great. I just hope they address how Pit moves when on the land. His leg movment has bothered me.

I want this game so badly!
...First I will need a 3DS.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

I hope it has a great map and space to explore and not fixed on a single storyline1
