I'm guessing $300 and no price announced at this E3.  TGS will hold the Japanese launch price and E3 next year will hold the US price announcement.

I dunno, I don't think Nintendo will announce the price tom. Nintendo didn't unviel 3DS's price till right before launch so I think they may repeate that. I suspect earliest we will find out is E3 2012 considering I expect them to announce it'll launch fall/winter 2012. I also think the price will be a little steaper then Nintendo usually goes. I suspect 300-350CDN. If Nintendo goes 600CDN I would be extremely suprised. But you never know depending on the specs Nintendo could release a pretty expensive console.

I think its really early to be speculating on price when Nintendo hasn't even shown us the console yet. I think I should comment further after Nintendo's conference!

Nintendo will give its console a $399.99 price tag. They will not sell their console at a lost and they will not be overpriced. Nintendo knows the steep price Sony suffered from. The IGN built model was roughly $425.93 with retail markup. Nintendo's custom built processers will be discounted at a cheaper/wholesale price from the volume/quantity that they will buying them. That will make the console significantly less then IGN's price. Add that with Nintendo's new controller with a touch screen and that will put the console at a $399.99 price tag. This is my quess. Also in my last post I did not put the PSP2 in it but I will say that it's looking like a fine piece of hardward.

IGN also used the wrong price for the GPU.   They listed the XFX HD 4850 as being $199.99.  It's actually just $75.99 with retail mark up.
