And in November 2013 the Xbox 3 will come out at $399 (that strategy worked well last time). The Café won't have seen its first pricecut, so it will still be $299 in that Holiday season (PS3 will cost $199).

And in late 2014 the PS4 comes out at... lemme think about that, but as MS will still be $399 when PS4 is released Sony might target the same price level. Yes $399 for a PS4. By this time Café is seen as old and weak (and much less successful than the Wii) and will have dropped to $249.

I chose €350. Sounds about right. 300 may be too little considering the technology Café will in theory incorporate and considering Nintendo never sells at a loss. 400 may be a tad too expensive for a Nintendo console.

I agree, except I don't think it's a stretch to say that the 3DS is overpriced. Maybe if Nintendo had a proper killer app for it, $250 would have been fine, but I don't see one on the horizon.

I'll also go on record that if Cafe costs more than $300 it will be a M-I-S-T-A-K-E.

I'm guessing $300 because I don't think Nintendo want to turn away consumers by announcing a high price.  I think $349 will be the highest.  I don't think there will be a price annoucement at E3.

Sounds like wishful thinking. Hopefully if you say it enough times, it will actually happen. :P  Besides, I shudder to think of the momentum the PS4 will have to make up if it release 2 years later than P. Cafe.
