Will still buy if it has Riiidge Racer and giant enemy crabs.
$450...and they will announce it during or directly after E3.
I predict Nintendo's E3 will be like:
Reggie: "Here, let me show you something." *smacks a crapload of awsomesauce in everyone's face*
Everyone: "Wow, Nintendo is like totally awsome!"
Reggie: "Yeah, this console is supercool. Actually, it's so cool that you bitches will have to pay fourhundredandfiftyshinyusdollars for it."
Everyone: *petrified*

Basically, Nintendo has rarely priced a device out of range of what many people consider "affordable". Ergo, the consensus is that they don't generally price out of mass market (again, with the 3DS being a recent exception - if you take it that far). I do agree that $350 isn't out of the question, but that's the highest I can see them going. |
True, but you must not forget that, as far as home consoles go, they've underpriced in the last two gens. Wii could have easily released at $300 and the Gamecube could even have been hit due to it's lower price creating a negative perception of value in the market.
$300 sounds about right. I doubt they'd price it the same or less than their handheld, and $400 seems way too much for Nintendo.

Wow, I actually agree with this. And I believe this because well, It could be reasonable if rumors about Cafe's power turn out to be correct . . .
NINTENDO
nintendo forever . . .
