Of those, Omega Boost. Polyphony desperately needs to try their hand at something other than non-definitive race car games, and giant robots beat the shit out of all that other shit.

But really, Wild Arms is most deserving of a revival.

I see who the other "Omega Boost" voter is, now!!  That game was intense!

I hate on Sony a lot (I'm trying to bring balance to the Force) but I can probably name another ten franchises that would be great if Sony decided to utilize their existing properties.

Yeah! High five!

Although I personally hate on Sony because they're a bunch of gormless fucks.

Legend of Dragoon

Legend of Legaia

Alundra

Wild Arms

Dark Cloud( without L5)

I want you inside!

I love Alundra!

I am the black sheep     "of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong."-Robert Anton Wilson

  • Alundra
  • Wild Arms (Sony's still, right?)
  • Primal
  • Legend of Legaia (You like Giant Enemy Crabs, don't you.....)
  • Kinetica
  • G-Police
  • Colony Wars
  • Ghost Hunter
  • Jak and Daxter (I ran out of Sony IP's, Okay)
  • Mark of the Kri

Sony's back catalog is pretty impressive.  Makes me wish they'd have kept working with Universal for the Crash and Spyro series.

Oh wow, Ghost Hunter and G-Police... and no certain genious action-adventure game.

This thread was created to piss me off!

I'm not sure which one you're thinking of.......Ico, perhaps?  I figured that since they were releasing the Ico/Shadow of the Collosus compilation and The Last Guardian was coming up, that they were accounted for.  I was trying to pick historic series that are being underepresented.

Dude, look at my previous post in this thread :P

I can't believe nobody mentioned it but me. I REALLY recommend the MediEvil games. They're funny, fun and can be played without getting shocked by blocky ps1 gfx (okay, at least I think so!).

Also, the music is awesome. This franchise could really benefit from the lush graphics of our time!

Ooooooooh! *smacks forehead* I never played that series!  I only played the demo disc that came with an issue of OPM magazine (still have the demo as a matter of fact--I kept them all!).  Maybe I need to give that series a try.

Dark Cloud. The second one is awesome

I don't like Legend of Dragoon, The Getaway, or Syphon Filter (the first 2 atleast)... And I haven't played the others.

Also is bushido blade a square, sony, or Lightweight(The dev) IP?

Cause that too. I don't really like it anymore as I feel it's aged poorly, but it was fun. And a cool franchise to revive!.

You do. I also tried its demo before I got the game, I played it like 15 times! It's the one where you start in the crypt, right?

Legend of Dragoon duhhhh
