1. Apart from M.U.G.E.N. there where not 'top' users in 2010.

2. This is just like 2010.

3. And yes, point # includes you.

M.U.G.E.N. is a 2010 poster?

For some reasons I thought he was older than that .

Huh you learn something new every day.

I'm great.

You just don't know it yet.

Edit: Hey, someone noticed me! Thank you, Torillian!

I feel appreciated... sniff.

2010 Had some pretty good users, myself included. I think that the reason you haven't seen any good 2011 users is because we are fairly early into the year. A lot of posters join for a particular thread, don't post for a while, and then get into more of a rhythm of posting regularly.

I know I joined in February and posted about twice a week. I stopped posting when VGC 3.0 formed. Then I started posting again when E3 came along. This is when I started seeing some interesting people, posted more frequently, and matured as a poster. All I gotta say is give it time and we'll see some better 2011 posters. Some of them haven't matured yet and some haven't started posting regularly yet.

I agree with the people saying that it was better back in the day. Any community has a limit on the number of users before the quality discussions, debates, etc decreases.

Because everyone knows that 2008 users are the best

but in all seriousness 2010 and 2011 so far haven't had anyone that great.  Just lots and lots of members who join for a short time, post about 100 - 200 times then either get banned or go into Lurker mode.

Also compared to the older days the site seems to have far less good discussion, and more "fanboy" and console wars battles.

I'll drink to that!

I always felt that March 10, 2008 was the day we had the best users join

+ 1

2008 was great, even if I went the majority of it without making an account.

2009 was also great.

2010 brought the slow down IMO... Although I still see a few great users.

Would agree with tor that Troll_Whisperer is the best from '11 so far.
