I think it's hard to put an order in consoles... but top 3 are definitely SNES, N64 adn Wii... After DKCR i can honestly say that the Wii can be compared with those 2 consoles in terms of legacy...

And i agree that after finally purchasing the DS Lite, i can see what the fuss is all about! It's a fantastic console!

Anywho... I think that Wii is my favorite console of all time now. I mean... it's offered so many great games over the past few years, and it's been home to a Platformer Renaissance that has been wonderful to be part of. I love it. It's also allowed me to take some gaming risks by offering games I never thought I would play. But I did and I loved them too. I mean, for me... this console is just wonderful.

So to recap...

Some of the best Platformers of all time are on the console:

Super Mario Galaxy 1/2
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Kirby's Epic Yarn
Sonic Colors (When a 3D Sonic game is as good as this, you know the Wii is a miracle worker )

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption/Trilogy

Fantastic games that bring friends, family, and complete strangers together to have fun:
