Anywho... I think that Wii is my favorite console of all time now. I mean... it's offered so many great games over the past few years, and it's been home to a Platformer Renaissance that has been wonderful to be part of. I love it. It's also allowed me to take some gaming risks by offering games I never thought I would play. But I did and I loved them too. I mean, for me... this console is just wonderful.
So to recap...
Some of the best Platformers of all time are on the console:
- Super Mario Galaxy 1/2
- New Super Mario Bros. Wii
- Donkey Kong Country Returns
- Kirby's Epic Yarn
- Sonic Colors (When a 3D Sonic game is as good as this, you know the Wii is a miracle worker
)
Adventures that I'll remember forever:
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
- Okami
- Epic MIckey
- Metroid Prime 3: Corruption/Trilogy
Fantastic games that bring friends, family, and complete strangers together to have fun:
- Mario Kart Wii
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl
- Rock Band 3
- New Super Mario Bros. Wii
- Wii Sports/Resort
Games I never thought I would ever play, and now I'm a better gamer for experiencing them:
- No More Heroes/Desperate Struggle
- Endless Ocean/Blue World
- Muramasa: The Demon Blade
- Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
- Little King's Story
- Wii Fit/Plus
So yeah, the console provided some amazing games, and I'm all the better for it. It's not over yet but so far it's been quite the ride. ^_~
