Lulz, that's way beyond the statistical tie!
A 1000 console difference? LOL
lmao.
But awesome nos. for PS3 in America.
...do you want to say I was right now NYanks?
Seriously, all is well. PS3>360, Wii close by...
All very good
Ok I've been one of the people annoyed by all the statistical tie nonsense thats been going on in these threads, but for once its REALLY true. I mean a 1k difference world wide? That is so close we won't really know who essentially "won" this week until later adjustments. Pretty crazy just how close the 360 and PS3 have been to one another this year, should be quite interesting over the next couple months.
Also Wii.....increases but is in desperate need of something to boost sales.
OHH EMMM GEEEEE
PS3 FTW!!!!!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
Bring on Price Cut at GDC!
All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey
Statistical tie! BUT ZOMG THE PS3 WON JUST BECAUSE ITS AHEAD 1K UNITS ZOMG!!!!!
Woah nice little PS3 boost. Another extra- regular week all in all.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Mad gift card deals. Sony is trying to stock out on thier 160gb ps3 |
Is the bolded knowledge (a source would be cool!) or conjecture?
Anecdotally I'd argue that given the amount of stock present in the channels post holidays that the gift card promotions were meant to thin out the heard a little bit.
Note: I'm not suggesting that Sony OVERSTUFFED the channels beyond belief, I'm suggesting that demand for the the PS3's in NA was over-estimated and the post holiday gift card incentives were used to address that.
On topic, good numbers for all; strange to see the Wii behind the PS3 and 360 though...just so used to it being at the top!
