Selling even worser than GT4, but I think it won't go that much lower anymore, it may stabilize at 30/35k per week.

It's kind of a funny...

- 360 had no release and just down 3% week on week.

- PS3 had LBP2 and Mass Effect 2 (ok... that's a late port) and down 5%.

That's the motive for I use the words "overtracked" and "undertracked" everytime.

And why in the name of all things sensible would ME2 (sold like crap) and LBP2 (a sequel to a succesful but not mega succesful title) move hardware?

360 and Kinect are still hot items... live with it or just leave the site for good if you have no respect for it.

This shit is getting really really fucking boring now.

I'm not an 360 fan, but Kowenicki is right. This is really boring.

I agree... that is boring... but just because it's boring/annoying not to be said? Boring or not that is still weird and funny.

Yeah, kinda cool how close everything is.

Agreed. Although there can only be one true winner....

me?

You are Numero Uno!!!

And I'm not really a numbers guy, but you people are bickering over nothing with how close the numbers are.  And I'm not referring to you, Aussie.  I'm just making a general comment in this space.

Ok. So explain to me how in middle of January the 360 up 5% in America with no release???

because supply is up and down and demand is still there following xmas... its really quite simple.

my my you are upset about all of this aren't you.

Can you imagine what he will be like if the Sony shipments turn out to be lower.....or higher!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO so the truth comes out :p

Yeah I know, I think we came to an agreement a while ago, although having mainly the same point of view we just have very different ways of getting there hahaha

Bet with Conegamer and Doobie_wop

As for the numbers i think LBP2 did pretty good. Didn't shift much hardware but i don't think anyone expected it too. It will be difficult for it to match the first ones sales as the first one was heavily bundled and discounted quite early. I would think they will do the same with LBP2 too eventually. ME2 sales are ...meh...which is a shame as it is one of my fav games this gen.

Hardware all pretty much tied. Which makes it far more interesting then having one of them just run away with it like they used to (yes i am looking at you Wii!).

I'm not commenting on the consoles.

I am commenting on LBP2.

And I expected much more from it.

Another HD statistical tie worldwide.  Wonder how long that's going to last?  And again Wii just denies the HD consoles being above it worldwide.

Worldwide launch for LBP2 is fine for me.  ME2 a little dissapointing if you were sensible in your expectations but not a surprise at this point.  GT5 looking good still.

Kinect remains strong for 360.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Why though?  It's LBP with knobs on - and LBP is my favourite game this gen - but why would that make it sell so much more than LBP?  I was expecting approx 500K launch and that's close enough.  LBP is still there and so are it's 3 million plus levels - people were never going to en masse shift from the LBP community to LBP2, it'll happen steadily over time, which should give LBP2 good legs.
