The adjustments to the 360 are massive and do call into question the credibility of this site.  As someone else alluded to, what is the point in discussing/arguing over sales for the consoles when these arguments are completely invalidated at a later date.  I know it must be difficult to predict sales accurately but this site gives figures which aren't even rounded up or down which gives the impression of accuracy.

Frankly, there are people on this site, without the benefit of sales input from various retailers and databases, who have made more accurate sales predictions months in advance.  If you don't have confidence in the figures you want to debate, this site becomes pointless.  Very disappointed.

if your questioning this site then leave. 1.8 million is a lot, but its not that massive considering how hard it is to track the emeaa region.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

While it is sad seeing Nintendo down, those Microsoft meltdowns make up for it.

Above: still the best game of the year.

WOW LBP2... WOW GT5.

Now finally VGC in line with Microsoft shipment revelead in CES... over 50m shipped for Dec 31th sounds like 50.9 sold now... and over 50m isn't 51m... it's anything between 50m and 51m.

And PS3 closed the GAP again... going against all haters.

what ms meltdowns, Kowenicki is simply pointing out that VGC did it before shipments were announced, it doesnt make a lot of sense.

That's what I talking about.

http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/features/2011/jan11/01-06cesxbox.mspx

"The wild ride to close out 2010 capped the “biggest year ever” for Xbox, said David Dennis, group public relations manager for Xbox. Over the holiday season, console sales for the Xbox 360 hit 50 million."

Looks like shipments figures from Dec 31th.

Unless they're privy to some info we don't have yet on the forums. But, yes, I agree that it seems like a strange thing to do.
